Game play of Cricket has been divided under few main types as school, university, club cricket, Grades, First Class and than national side where the most underrated and efficient at the same time is club level cricket which goes through heavy hardships yet is able to produce quality players.

Regarding school and university cricket, they are considered to figure out the germs of cricket in a young on self basis. If the student is willing to play, he is welcomed! if not, even though he is most welcomed. Meanwhile, only a couple of matches are being organized of limited overs due to intense academic schedule and less interest of institutions in providing funds. Meanwhile new era of T20 cricket with a couple of matches cannot encourage the student's interest in this game further.

However when it comes to club cricket, all the hard work, pain, problems, frustrations and time is consumed in the running of this structure. Club cricket is the platform which polishes the player from bleak to bauble time to time particularly on technique, fitness and discipline. Further it is the player which later prevails towards better form of cricket but the management consisting coaches and staff which worked to polish the player are kept at the back stage forever.

The first thing to run as a manager and a coach of a club is the collection of finance and to invest it on right place and on right time. A two hour net practice session every day comprising of used balls provided to the players and their refreshments too. Two matches per week lets the club marks its establishment in the district it is playing in. A single club match monitors upon ground fee, player's fee, their refreshment and balls fee which is usually calculated around 4000 per match and without sponsorship or funding, it is really frustrating to finance a club not only for the whole season but even for a single match too. Meanwhile the amount can also exaggerate if umpires, scorers and officials are being paid.

A club never feels shortage of players but to keep them intact with the team is the main motive. Player's no doubt have talent but it gets polished at this level by the coaching staff of the club. Due to low literacy rate, very few players are seen strict upon their discipline, fitness, training and practice at this level whereas in majority cases, if coaches and their strictness is not present upon the players during training, the cricket is not taken seriously. So in maintenance and building discipline of the players, Coaches play vital role. The way student never writes name of his teacher in his CV, similarly in player's portfolio his name, department/region will be mentioned but the name of his coach or mentor will never be visible.

It is not only matter of playing friendly matches in club but to rise and be highlighted, clubs have to participate in local tournaments too which again demands a heavy fee for the registration.

A common mindset applicable in club cricket of Pakistan is that youth can either excel in education or in cricket at one time and the players who are not indulge into academic are the ones giving proper time to club and at the same time they belong to poor families. The equipment needed to provide them to play the game to the safest is also a responsibility of club management and it requires a heavy finance to fulfill the need of a squad where usually a normal bat is worth 3500 Rs/- right now. Imagine the rest of the armor!

Club cricket is not easy to run as per management. For the sake of future of Pakistan Cricket, high profile financially groomed authorities should invest their money on clubs rather than advertising on the players who are already in their professional rank. At least at the start of season, a little amount on clothing, kits or on the food for players will be highly appreciable act for the promotion of game and youth and it will pay off in near future if every authority starts investing a little amount on club structure. At the same time, honest and merit preferring staff and coaches are needed to head the club cricket of Pakistan.
